The World Poker Tour has events scheduled until the end of the year

With the United States beginning to resurface as COVID-19 numbers continue their downward trend, the world of poker is also coming back to life, as evidenced by the launch of the new World Poker Tour live tournament dates. It seems the only live poker going on right now is in the US, it's nice to see a full schedule announced given how non-existent live poker has been in the last two years. Demonstrating how much pent-up demand there is in poker right now, the WPT has broken several records before and this year announced nine events through December that they hope to accomplish similar feats.

World Poker Tour is coming back in full force, this week it unveiled its schedule for upcoming events in North America. An action packed season is coming up for poker fans, just like last season, the WPT is bringing back many family friendly live tournaments as well as an online event.

The announcement comes after the recently concluded 18th season that is home to the largest main field in history. The next seven stops on the WPT Main Tour are already part of Season XIX, which will see the brand return to many well-known places. With the end of the COVID-19-related restrictions in the US, more festivals may be added in 2021 and more Season XIX events will be announced later for 2022.
