Scientific Games has launched a new mobile sports betting solution with Golden Nugget
Scientific Games, a leading global gaming provider, and Golden Nugget, a leading US gaming operator are launching a new mobile sportsbook in New Jersey. Golden Nugget customers will now be able to take advantage of the provider's suite of OpenSports products and business services managed by Don Best Sports.
The new sportsbook in New Jersey will allow players to enjoy whole new sports betting experience with innovative features such as Parlay Boosts, Quick Parlays, Bet Builder, Daily Enhanced Odds, Same-Game Parlays, Cash Out, and promotions like Next Bet On Us. The launch of the mobile sportsbook follows last month's launch of Golden Nugget's online casino and sports betting platform in Michigan. Additionally, the operator is also set to launch Scientific Games' OpenGaming platform in Pennsylvania.

Golden Nugget Online Gaming making moves in other states
Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG ) has been taking steps to expand across the country since it became a publicly traded company in late December 2020.The New Jersey sportsbook isn't the only GNOG platform that has launched so far of year. The company launched its Michigan online casino and sportsbook in January as well as preparing a launch in Pennsylvania in the near future.
Last month, he signed a 20-year deal with Tioga Downs Race Track in New York. With this agreement GNOG will be able to launch an offer in the state if online casinos become legal. Launch would depend on receiving all necessary licenses and regulatory approvals. The states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey have been very successful since they launched regulated online gambling in recent years. However, in New York so far no progress has been made in legalizing online casinos.
Thomas Winter spoke about how New York is a key component of the company's growth strategy and that he expects the region to launch online gambling. New York State has nearly 19.5 million residents, making it the fourth most populous state in the United States and a potentially lucrative market for operators. GNOG estimates that gross gaming revenue in the state could reach $ 2 billion annually for a mature online casino market.
The operator also has market access for an online casino and sportsbook in West Virginia and Illinois, pending regulatory approvals. Finally, it has secured a temporary permit for online sports betting in Virginia.
Scientific Games seeks to strengthen its position in the US market
The launch of New Jersey digital sports betting with Golden Nugget adds more weight to Scientific Games' presence in the US market and continues to expand its reach in the US market, the company recently agreed to a 5-year extension to its agreement with Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation.
