Hard Rock Digital Prepared for Large Expansion

Hard Rock International remains strong in its growth, innovation and diversification strategy. In December last year, it announced the launch of Hard Rock Digital, a Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming joint venture for interactive games and sports betting globally, which will be based in Hollywood, Florida.

Hard Rock Digital's capital comes from SGA, HRI and their partners, who will provide full financial support and backing for the new joint venture.

The companie will leverage the extensive operating base of these industry veterans, which has more than 130 million customers and nearly 250 land-based locations in 76 countries to provide its channels for interactive gaming and sports betting.

Jim Allen, president of HRI, said the launch of Hard Rock Digital will expand the company's digital business by enhancing its sports betting and interactive gaming offerings.

Hard Rock Digital intends to pursue strategic branding and distribution opportunities both within the US and globally. In the US alone, the potential market size is estimated at $ 7 billion for sports betting and $ 14 billion for online games.

This project is led by three renowned directors

Hard Rock Digital executives have been part of the leadership team that facilitated the growth and transformation of several interactive gaming and technology businesses including Playtech, The Stars Group, and FOX Bet.

The new business will be managed by former The Stars Group CEO Rafi Ashkenazi, who serves as its executive managing director and executive chair.

Joining him will be Marlon Goldstein, former Stars' legal director, who will be CEO of Hard Rock Digital. Goldstein is also part of Tekkorp Digital Acquisition Corporation, a special-purpose acquisitions company that seeks to acquire digital games businesses with an enterprise value of between $ 1 billion and $ 2 billion.

Matt Primeaux will serve as CEO and President of the new company, previously he was senior vice president of US strategy and operations for Stars.
