ESA Gaming's first foray into the Portuguese market
Malta's licensed online casino games provider ESA Gaming enters the Portuguese online gambling market through a recent agreement with local operator Casino Portugal. ESA will provide its new partner with access to its EasySwipe titles, including the high-performance Fruit Staxx, and will give Casino Portugal online players access to the provider's upcoming new games, such as the various launches it has scheduled for this year.
This collaboration allows ESA to present its products in a market that is constantly expanding. The agreement follows the successful completion of a certification process for the provider to establish further partnerships with licensed operators to provide their services in the Portuguese iGaming space. The local market registered a significant growth of 58% in the fourth quarter of 2020 and online slots accounted for 71% of the game overall, which definitely indicates that it is a good time for the ESA to benefit from the growth of local iGaming.
