Pragmatic Play Continues To Grow In Latin America
Pragmatic Play, developer of iGaming games for the global casino and sports betting industry, has started its new adventure in Colombia, to improve its reach in a growing market. Active in the industry since 2015, the company is fully multinational, with main offices in Gibraltar and Malta and branches in London, Zhytomir, Kiev, Noida, Cardiff, Bucharest, Belgrade, Hyderabad and Buenos Aires. It has partnerships with some of the biggest names in the international gaming, such as William Hill, Betfair, PokerStars, LeoVegas, Betconstruct, Betsson, 1xBet, SoftSwiss, Every Matrix, 1xSlots, and many more.
During this year, Pragmatic Play has been working to grow in South America, a goal that the company has made even more evident through the creation of what it calls its LATAM Hub, an effort calculated to significantly expand business in the region.
The LATAM Hub started in Argentina and Victor Arias, Pragmatic Play's Latin American Sector Vice President, was named the responsible party to spearhead the growth of Pragmatic Play's business in Latin America. Arias started with a group of three other members of the Pragmatic Play team, and then joined Marcos Ford, who was recently appointed as Head of Account Management for Pragmatic Play's LATAM Hub.
Pragmatic Play partners in Colombia
Pragmatic Play's first foray into the Colombian online gambling market was through the agreement with local authorized operator Wplay.co. In 2017, Wplay.co was the first operator to receive a license to provide online gambling services as part of the reorganization of the Colombian market. Wplay.co CEO Julio César Tamayo said Pragmatic Play games "stand out in a crowded market" and that they are thrilled to have them on board.
At the beginning of November, Pragmatic Play announced the partnership with the operator Luckia , a gaming company based in Colombia, to host its full catalog. This operator will have at his disposal the entire portfolio of the developer's most successful games, such as 5 Lions Dance, Wild Walker, Ultra Hold & Spin, Wild Wild Riches, Pyramid King, Street Racer, Fruit Party, Great Rhino Megaways, Wolf Gol and the famous title John Hunter, as well as upcoming releases. In addition to over 200 different online slot machines, Pragmatic Play offers live casino and bingo options, as well as scratch cards, table games, video poker, and more.
Luckia CEO Jaume Moragues spoke about the purchased content from Pragmatic Play, stating that their games are very popular all over the world, thanks to their quality. He also pointed out that these titles will make the company famous and improve the traffic to your online casino.
Pragmatic Play has made alliances with other operators within the Colombian market. Luckia has not been the only partnership, in early October the company announced that it had partnered with iGaming operator Zamba . This operator is a company owned by the Vicca Group and the Gaming1 group, which is an international distributor of iGaming content.
Rodrigo Aganador, CEO of the company, commented that they are in an ideal position to become leaders in the Colombian iGaming market, thanks to the new reforms in the gaming regulatory framework.
Santiago Melo, manager of the Zamba Business Unit, highlighted that the growth of the gaming offering is vital to continue increasing the customer base, and Pragmatic Play has an incredible diversity in its slot portfolio. It currently produces four new slot titles per month, as well as a wide range of live casino and bingo products. The entire company portfolio is available through a single API integration.
Zamba customers will be able to access Pragmatic Play's diverse portfolio of slots, including fan-favorite John Hunter series, as well as the award-winning Wolf Gold.
