Betway’s presence in South Africa
As part of international expansion efforts in South Africa, Betway marked a strategic partnership with Golden Bridge in April last year, through the regional licensed brand Headsquare. Recently, the iGaming and sports betting operator affirmed his position in another jurisdiction, Brazil, after extending the agreement with one of the most popular esports teams in the country, the professional team Made in Brazil (MIBR) Counter Strike, Global Offense.
Under the main sponsorship agreement with MIBR, the Betway logo will appear on team jerseys and on social media channels for the fourth year in a row. But this is not the only esports team featuring Betway as its title sponsor, as in September last year, the gaming operator closed a 1-year deal with the leading DOTA 2 team, the Peruvian team Beastcoast to expand its esports portfolio.
